New Initiatives

DPS Indirapuram is an institution that constantly strives to nurture the intellectual, physical and emotional development of its students. The school believes in adopting new methodologies to enhance the experiential learning experience for them. Keeping this in mind, it has undertaken a number of transformative initiatives which will surely go a long way for the holistic growth of the students.

1. Crossover Exam
One such initiative is the CROSSOVER EXAM in Mathematics. At DPS Indirapuram we believe that it is important for the students to master the fundamentals of a subject before they move to the next level of schooling. This is specially so for mathematics where understanding foundational concepts are crucial for tackling more advanced topics. Thus, with a view to assess a student’s hold on the difficult concepts of mathematics and suggest areas of improvement the school holds a self-assessment CROSSOVER EXAM in mathematics for students of classes V and VIII. It is mandatory for the students of the above classes to appear for this exam and qualify in order to be promoted to the next class.

2. Life Skills
Along with academic excellence, the school is also committed to facilitate the harmonious development of the body, mind and spirit. In its endeavour to ensure the physical well being of the students and equip them with the important life skill of swimming, the school has initiated free swimming classes under able instructors for the students of Class VII during the summer break. This new initiative will surely help increase muscle strength, hand-eye coordination, stamina and persistence among the students. It is thus mandatory for all students of Class VII to attend these classes and clear the swimming test along with academics to get promoted to Class VIII.
