RAKSHA BANDHAN SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

On Monday, 27^th August 2018, the Primary Wing of DPS Indirapuram held a Special Assembly to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.  The school Principal, Mrs. Meeta Rai graced the event.  The show commenced with a mellifluous song by the school choir sung to the accompaniment of the keyboard played by a young student.  The young children of classes I & II made a lively presentation of songs interspersed with dances to showcase the sacred bond of love and trust between brothers and sisters.  The show came to an end with a rhythmic dance performance by a young troupe of graceful dancing divas depicting the significance of Raksha Bandhan.

The Principal, Mrs. Meeta Rai expressed her happiness at the wonderful performance of the little children. She reiterated that the essence of celebrating Raksha Bandhan is not only to inculcate love and affection between siblings but also to spread love and harmony amongst fellowmen.
