Health and Hygiene Week

To help children develop habits that last a lifetime, an active, healthy lifestyle must be early in life. Keeping this in mind week-long activities were conducted for the little ones of Nursery from 21^st October 2019 to 25^th October 2019. The week began with an energizing Aerobics session which saw a wonderful participation from children. They also enjoyed making a healthy sprout salad in the class with the help of their teachers. They were told about the importance of including healthy food and milk in the diet and the harmful effects of junk food. Combining with the theme of Diwali and the concept of sequencing children prepared healthy snacks with cracker biscuits and a topping of crunchy veggies and cheese (in the shape of a Diya). The health and hygiene week concluded with the children’s visit to the school clinic where they met the school Doctor, who emphasized on eating healthy food and maintaining good hygiene and staying fit.
