Diwali Celebrations

The festival of lights was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of Pre Primary Wing on 25^th October 2019. The venue came alive with colourful diyas and bandanwars in the classrooms and corridors. Festivals being an opportunity to educate kids about our culture and tradition, the children were told about the significance and spirit of Diwali and were encouraged to inculcate a sense of eco-friendliness. The children coloured beautiful Diwali cards and went back home with happy and cheerful faces.

Diwali was celebrated by the tiny tots of class Nursery with great fervour and enthusiasm. Children made beautiful Diwali cards and carried with them puppets of Lord Ram, Sita and Hanuman. The Teachers explained to them the importance of Diwali and also sensitized them about the harmful effects of bursting crackers. Children also took an oath against bursting firecrackers.
