Dussehra Celebrations

Dussehra, the festival that is unique both in its perception and significance was celebrated by the students of the Pre-Primary wing of DPS Indirapuram with ardour and devotion on 4^th October, 2019. 

The children of Nursery came dressed in traditional Garba attire and danced to melodious tunes of Dandiya music. The teachers apprised the children of the importance of the festival and narrated stories related to it. They enjoyed watching the Ramayana on the smart board and decorating beautiful Goddess Durga masks.

The students of class Prep were educated about good and evil to reinforce that good always triumphs. The children coloured a vibrant Dussehra scene in their scrap book and carried home Ravana craft item as a take away activity.
