New Initiatives

 We, at DPS Indirapuram firmly believe in adapting to the evolving needs of our school community, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future. Hence to provide an environment that nurtures the growth and success of every student, we have taken transformative initiatives which will surely go a long way for the holistic growth of the students.

AI Labs

To provide students with hands-on experience in the exciting field of Artificial Intelligence, the school has initiated AI Labs. The state-of-the-art labs will offer a range of learning opportunities, from coding and programming to exploring AI applications in real-world scenarios. The AI Labs aim to equip students with essential skills for the future, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

AC Buses

Aimed at providing a more comfortable and enjoyable commute to and from school, the school has introduced Air Conditioned buses for students, from the upcoming session. This initiative will enhance student well-being and comfort, also ensuring a more relaxed start and end to the school day.

PROGRESSIVE ENDEAVOURS

DPS Indirapuram is always committed towards taking progressive steps to foster a learning environment that is not only academically rigorous but also focused on the overall development of our students. This year, we are proud to highlight several progressive endeavours aimed at enhancing the educational experience and ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the future.

Crossover Exam

One such initiative is the CROSSOVER EXAM in Mathematics. At DPS Indirapuram, we believe that it is important for the students to master the fundamentals of a subject before they move to the next level of schooling. This is specially so for mathematics where understanding foundational concepts are crucial for tackling more advanced topics. Thus, with a view to assess a student’s hold on the difficult concepts of mathematics and suggest areas of improvement, the school holds a self assessment CROSSOVER EXAM in mathematics for students of classes V and VIII. It is mandatory for the students of the above classes to appear for this exam and qualify in order to be promoted to the next class.

Life Skills

Along with academic excellence, the school is also committed to facilitate the harmonious development of the body, mind and spirit. In its endeavour to ensure the physical well being of the students and equip them with the important life skill of swimming, the school has initiated free swimming classes under able instructors for the students of Class VII during the summer break. This new initiative will surely help increase muscle strength, hand-eye coordination, stamina and persistence among the students. It is thus mandatory for all students of Class VII to attend these classes and clear the swimming test along with academics to get promoted to Class VIII.

Mindfulness

Understanding the importance of building social-emotional skills in school and to encourage empathy, patience and self-compassion, fostering a supportive and respectful school environment, the school introduced Mindfulness Program.It has been designed to help students manage stress, improve focus and promote emotional well-being. This program witnessed regular mindfulness sessions, which included activities such as meditation, breathing exercises and guided reflections.

Kavach

In order to empower students with essential skills to protect themselves in challenging situations, the school launched Kavach-Self Defense Program. This program taught students a range of practical self-defense techniques, focusing on physical strength, awareness, and confidence-building. It aimed to equip students with the knowledge and ability to stay safe while fostering a sense of empowerment. The sessions were conducted under the able guidance of trained professionals.

Cameras

As part of our commitment to enhance safety, security and monitoring within the school campus and ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff, the school has undertaken a new initiative to install security cameras in all classrooms. The school already has cameras strategically placed in common areas, hallways, entrances and other critical locations. The goal of installing cameras in classrooms is to create a safer learning environment for everyone. Cameras will also provide valuable insights into classroom dynamics, further assisting in monitoring student behavior and providing a tool for addressing any discipline issues that may arise. This can promote a more orderly and respectful environment for everyone.
