Academic Policy

  • The student will fully respect the school’s endeavor to promote integrity and ethical behavior on all fronts.
  • Any attempt / inclination to cheat, lie, distort or manipulate will be dealt with severity by the school.
  • All work assigned by the school i.e. Homework / Assignments / Projects / any other must be sincerely and diligently attempted by the student and not passed on to any external agency / individuals for completion. Any evidence to this effect will be perceived as a violation of academic honesty.
  • While attempting work assigned, full credit must be given for ideas, language or creative design borrowed from any source. Students are encouraged to understand the keywords / concept and attempt re-writing the material in their own language.
  • Being a silent witness or collaborator to any wrongful behaviour too constitutes a violation of honesty. We expect students to bring on unethical / dishonest act to the attention of teachers and Principal without delay and fear.
  • The School will appreciate and applaud honesty of behaviour and thought and uphold it as brave and rightful behaviour.

 Leave Rules

Students are required to seek written permission for leave from the Class Teacher prior to the commencement of the leave. Leave will not be granted for more than 2 days at a stretch.

          Leave may be granted to students only on the following grounds :

  1. In case of serious illness or demise of near relative or marriage in immediate
  2. Representation in sports or other prestigious
  3. Any other occasion deemed fit by the school.
  • Approval also needs to be sought before any foreign travel is planned during the working days.
  • Students are entitled to two types of leave Medical and Long Leave. Medical leave will be granted strictly on submission of a valid medical certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner. Long leave may be permitted only under special circumstances, subject to approval.
  • Absence from the school without leave will not be accepted, except when the cause is sudden illness or unforeseen In such cases, information must be given to the class teacher at the earliest.
  • In case leave is taken on medical grounds, a medical fitness certificate has to be produced on the first day of re-joining school.
  • A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, should produce a doctor’s fitness certificate permitting him to do so.
  • Students, who require medical attention during school hours, will be sent by the teacher to the school clinic with an Almanac / outpass from the concerned teacher.
  • No student will be allowed to leave the school premises during school hours. In case of an emergency, a written note from the guardian bearing the signature identical to the specimen signature entered in this Almanac shall be brought by the escort. Permission for leave must be sought for, from the class teacher via In case the student is availing the school transport facility, the class teacher and bus-in-charge must also be informed.
  • The parents must inform the class teacher via ERP specifying the reason in case their ward is absent from school.
  • It is compulsory for students to complete 75% of the attendance in the academic session to make them eligible to appear for the final examination.

Students who do not take their Term I/Term II examinations due to illness or some unforeseen mishap will not be eligible for the Scholar badges and any Proficiency/ Scholarship Award.
