DPS Indirapuram reaches out to the Kerala Flood Victims

In view of the recent catastrophe that hit Kerala, causing widespread devastation, rendering thousands homeless and leaving them in dire need of essentials, DPS Indirapuram endeavoured to lend a helping hand to the Kerala flood victims by appealing to the student community to come together and express their solidarity by donating notebooks, pencil boxes, and other stationery items to be dispatched to the fellow students in the flood hit region.

In a bid to facilitate the rehabilitation of the students in Kerala, and to help them resume their studies, 48 large cartons containing stationery material donated by the students of DPS Indirapuram were sent to Kerala through the NGO, Goonj. DPS R.N. Extension and Pacific World School also joined the noble cause by contributing in the collection of stationery items. This initiative would surely be of help to the thousands of children who have lost almost everything in the floods and would keep the lamp of literacy lighted in the state which is known for its high literacy levels.
