INDEPENDENCE DAY SPECIAL ASSESMBLY 2018

Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour at the Junior Wing of DPS Indirapuram on Friday, 10^th August 2018.  The school building came alive with tricolor flags and balloons that created a perfect ambience for celebrating the National Festival. 

A Special Assembly was held to commemorate the 72^nd anniversary of India’s Independence.  The mellifluous rendition of the patriotic songs by the school choir inspired a feeling of nationalism and was a befitting tribute to all the martyrs and great leaders of the Independence struggle.

The students were reminded of the events of courage, valour and supreme sacrifice of our freedom fighters.  It motivated the students to inculcate the virtues of integrity, honesty, patience and tolerance so that they may cope with the diverse challenges of life and make their mark in the world.  The Special Assembly concluded with the singing of the National Anthem with an overwhelming feeling of pride and joy in every heart
