Earth Day Activities

In an effort to raise awareness about environmental issues, an environment week was celebrated in the Nursery wing of DPS Indirapuram. A week long activity schedule was planned, dedicated towards saving the environment. The week began with showing the children some interesting and informative videos on the smart board related to the environment and nature. The children learnt about pollution, its causes and ways to reduce waste as much as possible in order to make our earth a better place to live in.

The children were asked to bring old plastic bottles which the teachers reused to make beautiful planters. They enthusiastically made hand printed badges and coloured I LOVE EARTH crowns. A class photograph session was also held in order to commemorate all the efforts to save our earth.
