To promote active learning and nurture children’s curiosity, the Primary Wing of DPS Indirapruam held Math-o-pedia and Sciencing is Fun, Math and Science exhibitions respectively on Saturday, 3rd February 2018.  The aim of the exhibitions was to equip students with Science and Math skills and encourage them to be more aware of the everyday world around them. The students participated enthusiastically and made amazing working models, charts, scrapbooks on various topics.  They had fun working in teams with peers and gained important insights into the practical application of Math & Science in daily life.  Parents visited the exhibitions in large numbers and were delighted to see students demonstrate their projects with great confidence.

The day also saw the culmination of the English Literary Week, Rainbow 2018 in which children of classes I to VI participated from 29th January to 2nd February 2018.  The Literary Week was a sincere endeavour to engage children in multifarious creative and fun activities and inspire them to acquire better insight into language and literary pursuits.  The children unleashed their creative impulse as they took part in a plethora of activities like Antonyms Craftivity (Class I), Story telling (Class II),  Don a Cap and Character Parade (Class III), Design a Mask (Class IV), Jazz Up with Synonyms and Poem Recitation (Class V) and Make an Ad (Class VI).  An English exhibition was organized in the school Atrium to showcase children’s work done during the English Literary Week.

The Pro-Vice Chairperson Mrs. Santosh Bansal, Principal Mrs. Meeta Rai and Headmistress Mrs. Priya John visited the exhibitions and expressed their happiness at the wonderful initiative taken by the Primary Wing to inculcate a scientific and creative temperament in the young students.
