Scholar Badge Ceremony Class VII

Delhi Public School Indirapuram organized a Scholar Badge Ceremony to felicitate the academically meritorious students of Class VII on 13^th December, 2017. The students were awarded symbols of excellence for excelling in their studies in Class VI in the session 2016-17. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Gaurav Bedi, Principal, Gurukul The School. The function was attended by parents and grandparents of the young scholars.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the honoured guests. The school Principal, Mrs. Meeta Rai thanked the parents for their support and cooperation. Expressing her happiness on seeing the large number of scholars, she exuberantly shared the land mark achievements of the school, urging the students to strive towards greater success and accomplishment.

The school English Choir mesmerized the gathering with the soul stirring song, ‘O Lord My God’, thanking the Almighty for all his wonders, while the School Dance Troupe enthralled all with a rhythmic folk dance.

285 students of class VII were awarded Scholar Badges for securing 85% and above marks by the Chief Guest, Mr. Gaurav Bedi and the school Principal, Mrs. Meeta Rai for their outstanding feat. Special awards were given to five students of class VII for full attendance during the session 2016-17.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Gaurav Bedi congratulated the young achievers and exhorted them to aim for the sky. He also lauded the parents for their rock solid support and selfless sacrifices made for the success of their children.

The programme drew to a close with a vote of thanks proposed by the school Headmistress Mr. Priya John.
