CHRISTMAS SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Thursday, 20^th December 2018 was a day filled with cheer and wonder at the Primary Wing of DPS Indirapuram as the students celebrated the joyous occasion of Christmas with a Special Assembly.

The school wore a festive look bedecked with Christmas trees, stars, candles and wreaths that added a sparkle to the Christmas celebration. The school Principal, Mrs. Meeta Rai was delighted to grace the occasion.  The lighting of the candle by the Principal followed by a melodious rendition of the much loved Christmas carols by the school choir set the tone for the day.  The children soaked in the spirit of the festival by watching the Nativity, the story of the birth of Jesus that held forth the message of charity, generosity, benevolence and empathy.  There was much cheer on stage as the teachers delighted the children with some more Christmas carols.  The dance troupe enraptured the audience with their graceful dance performance to the enchanting lyrics of ‘O Holy Night’.  The show concluded with the much awaited visit of Santa Claus.

The school Principal, Mrs. Meeta Rai showered her blessings on everyone present.  Her lively and engaging narration of the story of the birth of Lord Jesus added special charm to a wonderful and enriching Christmas Assembly
